These are the same information sheets I send out with my treatment plans, published here so you can read them in your own time and come back to them whenever you like. Each one sets out what the treatment is, why it might be recommended, what actually happens during it, the risks, the benefits, and how to look after it afterwards. Nothing is hidden and nothing is dressed up.

Implants and full-arch

Single Tooth Implant Replacing one missing tooth with a titanium root and a custom crown, without touching the teeth either side. Read more → Full-Arch Implant Rehabilitation A fixed set of teeth for a whole jaw, supported by implants rather than gum and suction. Read more → Bone Grafting Rebuilding jawbone so that an implant has a solid foundation to sit in. Cosmetic and restorative

Composite Bonding Tooth-coloured resin sculpted directly onto the tooth, usually in a single visit, usually without drilling. Read more → Porcelain Crowns and Bridges Laboratory-made restorations for teeth too broken down to rebuild directly, or to replace a missing tooth using the teeth either side. Read more → Tooth Whitening Safe, dentist-supervised lightening of the natural tooth, usually done at home over two to four weeks. Foundations and surgery

Periodontal and Hygiene Treatment Treating the gum and bone that hold your teeth in, which decides how long everything else lasts. Read more → Surgical Extractions Removing a tooth that cannot come out with forceps alone, done in a way that protects the bone around it. How to use these

Read the sheets that apply to you before your next appointment, and bring any questions with you. There is no such thing as a question that is too basic; the ones people apologise for asking are usually the ones worth asking.

These pages describe treatment in general terms. What matters is your mouth, and that is set out in your own written plan, with your own costs, risks and sequence, before anything begins.

If something here worries you, say so. Deciding not to proceed is always one of the options, and I will set out honestly what happens if you do nothing, because that is a real choice rather than a formality.
